Hi, I’m Nick, a photographer based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. I photograph events and the people at them, and my aim is to be reliable and unobtrusive, so you can focus on your day while I quietly get on with capturing it. I’ve also taken on product and portrait projects, and I’m always interested in work that needs a bit more thought than a quick snap.

Away from events, my passion is landscape and nature work. I always carry a camera on hikes and travels and enjoy hunting for compositions and occasionally capture a unique moment when the stars align. There’s also nothing like spending time in nature and getting to know my environment, leading to more deliberate compositions and often coming back to capture my favourite places in different seasons or specific conditions.

While some shots take deliberate planning and patience, sometimes we’re just at the right place at the right time. You’ll find compositions from both categories in my Gallery.
